Men have always been captivated by the lustre, the beautiful colours and the alluring transparency of glass. When warm, glass is a viscid, soft material, enabling the formation of almost any shape, and giving it the apperance of solidified liquid after cooling. It can be stretched, twisted, pinched and pressed - creating distinctive and interesting patterns whose aspect varies from different visual angles due to the refraction of light and the translucency of the glass. |
